Nation Ministry credentials package for Cherokee Nation includes all of the documents
you'll need to legally perform weddings, naming ceremonies,

Cherokee Nation.
Ordination

The laws of Cherokee
Nation require that all ministers register with the
Judicial Branch in Tahlequah before conducting any ceremonies. You
must also hold a current and valid minister's license to perform
such rites. In addition to obtaining your ceremonial
minister's license from the church, you must register with the
Judicial Branch and pay a registration fee (currently $25); this fee
is not collected by First Nation Church. A thirty-day notice and
objection period will follow the application. If there are no
objections, the license will be granted by the Judicial Branch at
the close of the period.
The current registration fee
is $32 for ordination that is accepted in
Cherokee Nation, as well as most states and local jurisdictions (two-year
licensing term). Please contact
the county clerk in your area for information on
local regulations.
All packages
includes our steadfast commitment to member service
following your ordination, to assure that your wedding
day experience is trouble-free.
