Under Arkansas Code 9-11-214(a),
persons performing marriage ceremonies in the state must hold a current and
valid minister's license prior to performing such rites,
and are required to record "his or her license or credentials
of his or her clerical character in the office of the county clerk
of some county in this state." In Arkansas,
ordination or investment by the Church gives each clergy member the
authority to perform the marriage rite; you may not declare yourself
to be "self ordained."
The current registration fee
is $32 for ordination that is accepted in
Arkansas, as well as most states and local jurisdictions (two-year
licensing term). Please contact
the county clerk in your area for information on
local regulations.
All packages
includes our steadfast commitment to member service
following your ordination, to assure that your wedding
day experience is trouble-free.
Don't
require complete Arkansas State ordination? Our basic
ordination package begins at only $9.95 and is
