Free Ministerial Ordination
Q: I can obtain a ministerial credential elsewhere
for free. Why should I pay for certification through First Nation
Church?
A: To be blunt, you get what you pay for. While the basic Internet
"minister credential" will be accepted in
a few states, full ordination as a
ceremonial minister through First Nation Ministry and certification by
the American
Council of Wedding Officiants credential, is valid and legal everywhere
in the world, and is accepted in
virtually every local jurisdiction across the United States.
Did you know that your
"free minister ordination" obtained elsewhere can end up costing you much more
than you bargained for?
Just about any free
ceremonial ordination service will give you a piece of paper with your
name on it. It looks official, but what happens when you take it down to
the County Clerk's office? That's where your fun begins.
If your "credential" is
accepted — and it's a mighty big "if" — you're good to go. If not,
you'll be going back to the ordination service to see if they'll provide
you with a "letter of good standing" from the church. Here's a quick
lesson for you: it isn't free!
(Here's another lesson:
the letter is included in our standard package, at no additional charge
to you.)
Want a personalized
certificate with your name on it from them? Get out your wallet. How
about an identification card? They'll charge you for that, too. Oh, and
you want it shipped to your home? There will be an additional fee for
that as well.
Suddenly, your "free"
ministerial credential elsewhere can end up costing you more than $150!
Our fee
for complete ordination works out to
less than $1.35 per month, includes full documentation, unlimited
support and annual membership
in ACWO, while our basic package
includes EVERYTHING
you'll need to be confident in the power that has been vested in you by
First Nation Church!
